Gebo 4 Park Board
Park Board Priorities
Community Advocacy - Our parks and green spaces belong to all of us, the residents of this city. I pledge to be the “people's voice” and bring a community-driven approach to the Minneapolis Park Board. If elected, I will work for you. I will be accessible and available, ensuring that what matters to you, matters to me.
Workers' Rights - The recent strike by Minneapolis park workers, the first in the park system’s 141-year history, caused a disruption that was entirely preventable. If given the opportunity to serve on the Minneapolis Park Board, I will advocate with a pro-labor mindset, prioritizing the well-being of workers over corporate interests.
Public Transportation Champion - Public transportation is more than just buses and trains; it represents economic freedom, new opportunities, and a climate-friendly solution. An extended rail line or dedicated bus lane ensures that community members have access to reliable transportation. Having lived without a car, I understand firsthand the challenges of mobility with inadequate public transportation. If granted the privilege, I will be a steadfast champion for public transportation on the Minneapolis Park Board
